Carl Schlosberg has created a new sculpture gallery. It's called Malibu.
This summer 24 sculptures, ranging from the whimsical to the powerful to the graceful, will be on display in the Malibu Civic Center area. A 15-foot-tall knife and fork, a bronze horse in a field, a pair of giant, luminous gold bags — they're all part of the 2005 Malibu Summer Sculpture Exhibition, presented by Carl Schlosberg Exhibitions Inc. This unique show, intended to enliven the Malibu summer spirit, is open to the public throughout July and August.
